Portland Real Estate Market Activity - First Quarter 2007
Jun 7th, 2007 by Jody McLeod
Summer is upon us (and the kids are almost out of school - OH MY!). For some of you who might be considering a move the time to look is now, especially if you have kids that will be transferring schools. The Portland housing market has shifted a bit, but is fairing well compared to much of the nation. Buyers have gained more of an advantage; more inventory means more choices and, on average, houses are taking longer to sell. However, homes are still appreciating at a fair pace, with only a couple of areas showing a noticeable slide backward.

Not to bad at all. I thought we were going to see a drastic downward trend. This report surprised me.
